One of the most essential lessons of life you are ever gonna learn, let it go. Let go of what holds you back, what weighs you down, something that still makes your mind run badly. I have learnt it, to let go of what's not in my control and the funny part is 8 out of 10 things in my life are out of my control. When you awakes, you understand the importance of letting go, why it is given so much importance, it's impact on you. One of the hideous reasons for not letting go is grudges. They create bigger impact on you. Initially, it was really hard for me, how can i forget, what that particular person did to me, or my family, or my friend. There was no way I could let go of my emotions, which were anger, anxiety, stress, worrying or even sadness. But once you start to understand the process of keeping grudges and its horrible consequences, you start accepting the fact that yes, letting go is
important.
Start with little things in life, if you got late and missed the bus, it's okay, stop making it a big deal. Or maybe something like this, that makes you sad or a bit angry sometimes but start to let go of smaller things in life. You may not be able to do it every time, but at least try. Gradually you will make it happen. Changes takes time.
Close your eyes, take a deep breathe, open your eyes and write the problems you think you have, all of them, just pen down them. Now, analyse them carefully, how many of these problems that yo have wrote are actually in your control, or you can do something about it, or just completely finish them. Now, just do yourself a favor and burn this list, Oh! it works too, on some level of universe. But know at least you know how much of the circumstances that bothers you are actually in your control and not.
While you meditate, it's advisable to accept this process and practice it more daily. Just don't be harsh on yourself. Things will change, every minute you invested in that meditation practice will enhance your inner self on some level for sure.
Love yourself, Let go of what's not in your control, be patient, be happy.
